Managing grief during the holidays

When I lost my husband at 34, I was surrounded by loved ones, and had a phenomenal support system. But, I still felt weirdly out of place. Though I came across widow support groups, either I was decades younger, or much browner than anyone else involved. Again, feeling weirdly out of place. A year later, the woman who raised me, passed away. It was like the blows kept coming. But through self care, therapy, and doing the inner work, I learned a lot about grief and helpful ways to manage it.

Whether you've lost a spouse, significant other, parent, child, job, etc., grief is grief. Check out the video below as I share what I learned about managing grief during the holidays.
